IPS Business Consultant Joanne Hill will be representing IPS at Bunbury TAFE’s Cultural Market Day this Thursday, October 22, from 10am-1pm.
The Market Day is Bunbury TAFE’s celebration of NAIDOC Week.
Joanne will be promoting IPS and Business Advisory’s services and business to the Bunbury and South West community.
“I’ll be highlighting the opportunities that we have in our business for people that are wanting to be involved in human resources, business advisory or creative design,” Joanne said.
She is also there as a guest speaker, and will be talking, alongside her mother, on the NAIDOC theme of Because of Her, We Can.
“I’ll be talking about the way women in the past have gone through adversity,” Joanne said.
“Throughout the Bunbury community there are a huge amount of strong Aboriginal women, who have a strong leadership role. They’ve influenced me to develop myself, and to move into the career that I’ve chosen – in a couple of weeks I will finish my exams, and my Bachelor of Business with a double major in human resource management and management. “I strongly encourage other Aboriginal men and women to go into further study in this area, because there are plenty of opportunities to support our communities.”
