October is Indigenous Business Month – and to mark the occasion, IPS are running three networking events for businesses around Australia.
Indigenous Business Month is an initiative of the MURRA Indigenous Master Class Alumni of the Melbourne Business School, to shine a spotlight on the variety and depth of Indigenous businesses nationally and to show business as a way of providing positive role models for young Indigenous Australians.
Our Margaret River event will be held at Meeka House in Margaret River on Tuesday October 23, from 5-7pm. We invite you to join us for cocktails, canapes, and networking with local Margaret River businesses. This is a great opportunity to find out more about what IPS does, and to introduce us to your business as well.
The evening will include a screening of a short video from local filmmaker and Indigenous documentarian Jennifer Gheradi, and a short talk by Zac Webb from Undalup about opportunities for Indigenous business people in the South West.
If your business is in around Margaret River or the South West, we’d love to see you there.
