October is Indigenous Business Month – and to mark the occasion, IPS are running three networking events for businesses around Australia.
We’d love you to join us in at Drill Hall Studio in Townsville on Friday October 19 from 3-5pm to celebrate the role and function of Indigenous Businesses within the Townsville Region.
Hosted by IPS Business Management Consultant Queensland Scott Anderson, this event will be a great way to learn more about the significant work occurring within the Indigenous Business Sector.
A panel of experts will be convened to share their views on Indigenous Procurement Policy, Social Enterprise, Indigenous Business Opportunities and the importance of partnerships. The Panel will consist of representatives from local Indigenous businesses, corporate partners, social enterprises and the Townsville Region Indigenous Business Network.
This event will be a great way to meet Indigenous business owners as well as corporate and government partners. You will be able to find out more about what IPS does, as well as introduce us to your business.
Indigenous Business Month is an initiative of the MURRA Indigenous Master Class Alumni of the Melbourne Business School, to shine a spotlight on the variety and depth of Indigenous businesses nationally and to show business as a way of providing positive role models for young Indigenous Australians.
